Accommodations

Montréal is accessible via the Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau international airport (YUL) as well as by rail (Central Station) and by bus. It is also driving distance from many major Eastern Canadian and American cities.

The main building of our campus, where most classes are held, is located at 3200 Jean Brillant Street. The campus is easily accessible by public transport and a 20-minute bus ride from Downtown Montréal.

Many DHSI participants stay in on-campus accommodation during DHSI for the convenience of being located close to all activities and fellow participants. Campus lodging is basic dormitory style.

For those who would prefer hotel-type accommodations, there are many hotel and Airbnb options available in Montréal. However, you should note that Montréal is a popular tourist destination in summer and rooms, both on and off campus, might be reserved fast.

Rooms at University of Montréal’s dormitory (ZUM) will be available for DHSI participants at a discounted rate. Since the number of discounted rooms available is limited, we encourage you to reserve your room as early as possible (but please take note of the cancellation policy before you proceed with the booking.)

You can access more information and book a room on the ZUM-DHSI 2026 page: https://www.zumauberge.ca/en/dhsi2026.

If you have any questions regarding the rooms at ZUM, please visit their website or contact their customer service through info@zumauberge.ca.
