Registration & Fees

DHSI 2026 will be offered in-person on the Université de Montréal campus located at 3200 Jean-Brillant St., Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Registration for DHSI 2026 is handled via the Université de Montréal’s Professional Development Center (PRAXIS).

We thank our sponsors and partners, course instructors, aligned conference & event organizers, institute lecturers, local facilitators, and beyond for making DHSI as accessible as possible and facilitating our not-for-profit model.

Registration Fees

Note: Early registration ends on 8 March 2026. Regular registration ends on 1 May 2026.

The pricing below reflects fees per individual course (in $CAD), tax included, and does not include accommodation or living expenses of participants. Each course runs daily in multiple sessions throughout each week; see the schedule page for more details.

Early Registration | Student: $500.00
Early Registration | Non-Student: $950.00
These rates are available prior to 8 March.

Regular Registration | Student: $800.00
Regular Registration | Non-Student: $1250.00
These rates are available after 8 March and prior to 1 May.

From Partnered and Sponsoring Groups

Fees for participants from partnered and sponsoring organizations, institutions, and projects are partially supported by those organizations. If you are a member of at least one of these institutions, contact us at dhsimontreal@gmail.com for more information on discounted registration.

Registering with a Scholarship

Thanks to the exceptional generosity of our sponsors and partners, we are able to offer a number of scholarships for the Digital Humanities Summer Institute. Read more about scholarships and how to apply here.

Terms and Policies

We follow the cancellation policy of the Université de Montréal’s Professional Development Center (PRAXIS):

Cancellation by PRAXIS

We reserve the right to cancel a training session if the number of participants is insufficient.

In this case, a cancellation notice will be sent at least three (3) business days before the scheduled training date and a full refund of the registration fees will be sent without delay.

Cancellation by the participant

A cancellation request must be submitted by email or telephone to the Praxis Professional Development Center (praxis@fas.umontreal.ca / 514-343-6111 #44999), at least (7) working days before the training session is held. A refund equivalent to 70% of the registration fees will be returned to the applicant. After this period, no reimbursement can take place.

Please note that scholarship holders should refer to the clauses mentioned in their acceptance email regarding cancellation


PRAXIS does not assume responsibility for any costs incurred in terms of accommodation and transport, whatever they may be, following registration for continuing and professional training on our platform.
