Accessibility

We strive to ensure that everyone at DHSI has an enjoyable experience and is able to attend all the events they wish to with ease. If there is anything we can do to accommodate your needs with regard to accessibility, mobility, or any other issues, please let us know. We’d love to work with you to find a solution before DHSI even starts!

Getting Around Campus

The ring road around the university and numerous parking lots make it convenient to get around using pre-arranged taxi services. A taxi can park in close proximity to most buildings on campus. Some in the fleet can accommodate a range of needs, picking up / dropping off from residence room / classroom / auditorium / reception space, and others. A list of local operators can be found here.

Buildings

The buildings where DHSI lectures and workshops take place are wheelchair accessible. The main room where the keynotes, DHSI colloquium, and opening and closing lectures generally take place (MacLaurin A144) is also a hearing-assistive lecture theatre. Kindly reach out to any member of our team ahead of time to have the equipment set up for the lecture(s).

On-campus Housing

Both the dormitory and the cluster housing are able to accommodate accessibility needs. When booking, please specify what type of accommodation suits you best.
